Hello everyone! I just finished my first time performing at The Irish Pub on Washington Street in beautiful, downtown Lewisburg, West Virginia. Had a great time with Andrea, Patrick, the staff and customers. I look forward to getting back there again sometime down the road. (Program note: Be on the lookout for Chris Brewster produced/directed ginseng stories on Appalachian Outlaws on The History Channel). This week, I’m lucky enough to - and looking forward to - return to the best listening venue in the country: Kevin Barry’s Pub in Savannah, Georgia. (29 September -5 October – also celebrating the 30th anniversary of the activation of the 75th Ranger Regiment on 3 October). Consistently named one of the top Irish pubs in the world, Kevin Barry’s Pub even far outdistances any Irish pub in the Levant! It is also one of the most Military-Friendly bars in that self same world-wide arena. Shows start at 8:00PM Monday – Saturday. On Sunday, there is an open session that’s anchored by Seldom Sober and the Savannah Ceilidh Group. The session starts at about 6:30 PM-ish. Everyone is invited to play, sing or just listen. They wrap things up around 8:30 or 8:45. Then I go on. I hope you can make it! You can hear or download a lot of my music for free at my website and I can also be accessed via Facebook.
